We met the rest of the family (post church) at a breakfast place called the Kneadery. Oh, let me clarify, THEY went to church. We did not want lightning to hit them so we did not attend. The Kneadery was a really good breakfast place. I had eggs Benedict and Rick had a version of eggs Benedict with toast and hash.
After brunch, we went back to Tim and Leslie's house. The drive was really beautiful, the funny thing is the landscape was very similar to Tahoe, just more upscale. There are less trees on the mountain than in Tahoe though. The lodge is great. It's a unit with 3 bedrooms and a common area. Very spacious and comfortable. They even had someone come with a gift basket of fruit, crackers, cheese, and some drinks as a welcome. That was a very nice touch.
Once we were done moving in, we went back to Tim's and Leslie's and hung out some more. They have a great house and it was nice to sit on the patio visiting and catching up with everyone. Connor had a great time looking at everyone's wallet. At around 6:15, we headed out to dinner.
Dinner was at a restaurant called the Ketchum Grill. For dinner, I had the Oso Bucco. It was awesome! Rick had the meatloaf and it looked pretty good too, but no where near as good as the Oso Bucco. We sat outside and aside for some annoying bugs, it was a fantastic dinner.
Once dinner was over, we went to the market for some drinks. Back at the apartment, I fell asleep as Deb put Connor down. A quick nap, that's all... then I got up, and logged into to work and pulled numbers... Sadly, it's year end for me so as much as we are on vacation, I cannot disconnect.
A very nice day visiting with the family. Sadly, I forgot my camera cable so no pictures... Maybe we can find one tomorrow.
