On the Road

Today I am getting ready to embark on another trip.  This trip is with Rick and the Walerys to SunValley.  The whole gang is coming too! The Zellers from Houston, the Obriens from Menlo, and the occasion is to celebrate Bob and Nancy's 50th anniversary.  Fancy that!  Both parents, mine and Rick's, celebrating their 50th in the same year!  That is uber fantastic!  First of all, let me just say that we both feel very blessed to still have all our parents, AND that they are happy, and healthy, and able to travel with us.  So, the Walery family is headed out to SunValley.

We were quite early at the airport so we hung out and waited for the plane to arrive.  The plane was a little late and Connor got to ride on the people mover back and forth.  He liked the people mover... used all his gestures to get folks to take him and even was willing to go with his uncle Rick.   Beggars cannot be choosers I suppose.

The flight to SunValley was a short 1 1/2 hour flight.  I was glad for the short flight as there was a woman sitting near us who could not stop flapping her lips the ENTIRE time..Note to self, bring headphones onto the plane...

We got out of the airport fairly easily and headed for McDonald's.  After a quick bite, Nancy and Bob and Deb and Jack with Connor headed toward Ketchum, while we stayed a a hotel in Haley.  Tomorrow, we will meet up at the Resort and that is where we will be staying for the rest of the time.
